Robinson R44 Raven II
Robinson R44 Raven II is a light, multi-purpose four-seat helicopter built by Robinson Helicopter (USA). Developed in the 1980s, it made its first flight on 31 March 1990 and was certified in December 1992. Today it is one of the most popular light helicopters in the world — reliable, economical and perfectly suited to sightseeing flights. Its compact cabin and curved bubble windows make it ideal for aerial photography.

How much does a Robinson R44 flight cost
From UAH 2,533 for one seat on a shared flight (12 minutes), or from UAH 7,599 for the whole helicopter. Longer routes go up to UAH 51,799 per helicopter (110 minutes, the flight over Pripyat and Chornobyl). No prepayment required.
Frequently asked questions
How many passengers does the Robinson R44 carry?
Up to three passengers, the pilot not included. Combined weight of the three is up to 250 kg, with up to 120 kg per seat. The exact limit depends on fuel load and is confirmed before departure.
Can I fly with a child?
Yes. For children under seven we recommend arranging the flight in advance: little ones are often frightened by the flight and do not enjoy it.
Can pregnant women fly?
The flight is smooth, but it is worth consulting your doctor and telling us when booking.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing an ID. Small hand luggage is included — the R44 has no separate baggage compartment. Any clothing works; comfortable shoes are best, and for photos avoid light or shiny fabrics.
How early should I arrive?
Fifteen minutes before departure — for the safety briefing and to meet your pilot.
Can I take photos during the flight?
Yes, photography is free of charge. The R44 gives good shots even with the windows closed. The front seat cannot be guaranteed — seating is assigned by the pilot to balance the helicopter.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
We reschedule the flight at no extra cost or refund your money. The pilot makes the call on the morning of the flight.
